Klamath Falls is growing! |
|
|
Klamath Falls may not have any water falls any more but it sure has
that close knit, small town feel. Plus we are also growing and
expanding. We have well known places such as Fred Meyers, Gottschalks, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Staples, Applebee's, Dairy Queen, Subway, McDonald's and the list goes on. But there are also local treasures such as Nibbley's Cafe, Antonio's Cucina Italiana, Sergio's Mexicana, the Ross Ragland Theater, and the Linkville Theater.
Oregon Institute of Technology: Oregon Institute of Technology, a member of the Oregon University System, is the only public institute of technology in the Pacific Northwest. OIT offers bachelor's degree programs in the engineering and the health technologies, management, and applied science. All programs combine advanced technology with an intensive real world approach to learning. OIT graduates are heavily recruited by industry year after year. http://www.oit.edu Klamath Community College: KCC offers academic choices in 10 different program fields, with two-year degrees, one-year certificates, and courses on college success. Also available is a state university transfer program, which allows students to take the first two years of a four-year degree at lower tuition rates than universities. http://www.kcc.cc.or.us To find out what else Klamath Falls has to offer, visit: Klamath County Chamber of Commerce Klamath County Economic Development Association Our local paper: Herald
